0.050" Socket Contacts

AGP’s push-on female socket contacts are bare (non-insulated), gold plated, Be-Cu (Beryllium-Copper alloy) contacts designed for both air and/or in-vacuum service. When used in conjunction with comparably sized copper pins and 14 AWG Kapton insulated wiring these contacts can handle currents as high as 15 amperes. They are available with .050 socket contacts, .056 socket contacts, and .062 socket contacts that mate with feedthrough pins or conductors of the same size. All contacts accept a wire diameter of .067 inches (14 AWG). Wire is secured to contacts using vacuum grade solder, or mechanically crimped. These contacts are sold in packs of five (5) pieces and are suitable for temperatures of 200°C in-vacuum, or 150°C in-air environments.
